Today, Avertium announced the appointment of Ben Masino as the company’s Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Formerly the senior vice president of sales for Avertium, Masino will now lead the company’s marketing, sales, and business development efforts to support the company’s next phase of growth and expansion.

Avertium continues to experience solid growth since its inception in 2019. In 2020, Avertium earned LogRhythm’s Rising Star designation, AT&T’s AlienVault Partner of the year for the sixth time, Sophos 2020 Partner of the Year, MSSP Alert’s top 50 MSSPs, and was designated to Channel Future’s MSP 501.

Masino is charged with continuing the company’s upward trend by expanding alliances, incorporating new technology, and providing a new model of managed and consulting services in cybersecurity.

Prior to his current role, Ben rose through the ranks and led sales teams for noteworthy companies like Spotinst, Alert Logic, Sungard Financial Systems (now part of FIS), and others, where he oversaw tremendous growth in both revenue and customer engagement year over year.

With a strong background in developing direct and indirect sales channel strategies, Masino has demonstrated success in building deep relationships with his customers, as well as growing enterprise and mid-market sales teams operating in the cybersecurity space.
