Security Engineer Michael Berardi and Security Analyst Bryce Crum will be sharing the stage with Tim Tomes, author of recon-ng and founder of Practical Security Services, at the 2020 BSides Greenville Security conference in Greenville, S.C. on March 21, 2020 at Clemson University’s International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR).
Michael’s presentation, “Password Sprays – Still a Concern?” will outline a specific technique that is different from the more traditional brute force attack and how this technique leverages overlooked low and medium vulnerabilities together to obtain access to sensitive data. *Michael will be speaking from 12:45 p.m. – 1:35 p.m. in the Track 2 location.
Bryce’s presentation, “From OSINT to Pwn,” will discuss the use of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) in offensive security and how to best secure your company from the dangers of your company’s employees and their use of social media platforms and professional networking services. *Bryce will be speaking from 2:45 p.m. – 3:35 p.m. in the Track 3 location.
